About us: LMC, previously known as, Latina Moms of Long Island, was created in February 2014, after several conversations with moms at local schools, the bus stop, and playdates. The need to connect mothers, families, and children to culture was evident and inspired through these conversations. To expand its reach, Latina Moms of L.I. became Latina Moms Connect, Inc. 2020

āAfter years of successfully working to fulfill its purpose, through grassroots efforts, Latina Moms Connect, Inc. was recognized as a 501c3 Non-Profit organization in December of 2021.
Today, LMC continues its work to build community connections that support Latino/Latinx cultural preservation, nurture cultural identity and give voice to issues that impact the Latino/Latinx community. Since 2014, LMC has been creating spaces and opportunities for authentic connection and community-building that support the social-emotional development and well-being of families.
Our vision is that every Latino/Latinx family and child has a strong sense of pride in their cultural identity and promotes traditions that shape and advance our Latino/Latinx community. Join us to make a lasting impact!

Para apoyar los esfuerzos para crear conciencia sobre la trata de personas y apoyar a las mujeres, las niƱas y las personas afectadas, Latina Moms Connect (LMC) estĆ” recolectando āKits de bondadā.
Una bolsita llena de un galĆ³n con una variedad de productos para el cuidado femenino, artĆculos de tocador de viaje y productos de cuidado personal que promueven la buena salud y la curaciĆ³n, puede ofrecer esperanza y apoyo a alguien que lo necesite.
La trata de personas afecta a todos los Ɣmbitos de la vida, edades, gƩneros y nacionalidades. Empowerment Collaborative of Long Island (ECLI) y la Iniciativa contra la trata de personas del condado de Suffolk ayudan a conectar y atender a los afectados.
